The Minneapolis Central Library offers a guided tour of the downtown building focusing on the building's four floors of art, the unique architecture and large and varied collections of books. Renowned architect Cesar Pelli and Architectural Alliance designed the library, completing its construction in 2006. It was hailed as a new step toward environmental buildings.
