Proposed NRP Plan Modification: Utility Box Program

The NIEBNA Board of Directors will be voting whether to approve this NRP plan modification at its meeting on October 17, 2024.

This project fits within NIEBNA’s  NRP Phase II Strategy 8.1: Quality of Life (improving quality of life with activities and initiatives):

Requested amount: $10,000.

To prevent graffiti and brighten the streetscape, NIEBNA would like to partner with the Minneapolis Art in Public Places program to wrap a number of utility boxes throughout the neighborhood with designs created by city-approved artists.
